The North Dakota Chamber of Commerce, the voice of North Dakota business, is proud to have joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s recent launch of a statewide television ad blitz and grassroots communications campaign.  The ad highlights ND Congressman Rick Berg’s support for the Keystone XL pipeline, a project that would create jobs in the state and increase America’s energy security.

“North Dakotans appreciate the benefits that successful businesses of all sizes bring to North Dakota families,” said Andy Peterson, President of the Great North Dakota Chamber of Commerce.

“In a hyper energized environment it is important to remember that the ideals of the business community are essential.  It is because of this central tenant that North Dakota leads the way in short and long term job growth.  We must continue to honor that success and support federal policies that ensure our economic security,” he said.

The Chamber’s ad focuses on the critically important Keystone XL pipeline that will enhance our nation’s economic and energy security.  The proposed project will provide approximately twenty thousand badly needed manufacturing and construction jobs, and contribute an estimated $20 billion in benefits to the U.S. economy.
