Given the current state of the economy, and the ever-growing need for a steady supply of oil, approving the Keystone XL Pipeline must be done now. In order for our economy to recover and grow, America needs a supply of energy which will meet our current needs and provide for future expansion. Without any creative plans to secure access to long-term, stable energy supplies, our economy’s growth will be restricted.

On December 4th in Albion, Nebraska, the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality will hold a meeting regarding the proposed new route of the Keystone XL Pipeline project. TransCanada, the company building the pipeline, has addressed our concerns for areas such as the Sandhills Region and has rerouted the pipeline through a less environmentally sensitive area.

I would like to encourage every Nebraskan to attend in support of the pipeline and the economic boost it will provide for our state! and our nation.
